Sunday has five games, and no team had named a starter when this was first published. Daylight saving time ends in the US overnight, so these times are Eastern Standard Time. Here is who started each team's last game, from NHL.com box scores, and what to watch for.
| Game (ET) | Away, last start | Home, last start |
|---|---|---|
| Jets at Hurricanes, 1 p.m. | Nico Daws, 33 saves in a 5-2 loss at Florida (Oct. 30) | Pyotr Kochetkov, 24 saves in a 3-2 win vs. Columbus (Oct. 29) |
| Wild at Capitals, 3:30 p.m. | Jesper Wallstedt, 4-3 OT loss vs. NY Islanders (Oct. 29) | Charlie Lindgren, 25 saves in a 4-3 win at Nashville (Oct. 29) |

The two back-to-backs
Oilers. Edmonton plays at the Islanders at 2 p.m. ET on Saturday, then in Manhattan on Sunday. NHL.com's projected lineups list Tristan Jarry for Saturday, so Sunday's starter will depend on how that goes and what the Oilers announce.
Senators. Ottawa plays at San Jose at 4 p.m. ET on Saturday, then at Anaheim on Sunday. NHL.com projects Jonas Johansson for Saturday.
Rangers: Korpisalo returns to practice
Joonas Korpisalo practiced with the Rangers on Friday for the first time in the regular season, a "big step" in his recovery from a lower-body injury, coach Mike Sullivan said, per NHL.com's status report. He did not finish practice, which was by design under a plan with the team's medical staff. Dylan Garand and James Reimer were the other goalies on the ice. The Rangers have not played since Monday, when Reimer allowed three goals on eight shots before Garand relieved him, so both are rested.
Jets in Raleigh
Winnipeg has lost eight straight (0-6-2), and Daws made his first Jets start on Friday. See our Friday goalie recap for both sides of the Hellebuyck trade.
We will update the Nov. 1 board as NHL.com projections, team announcements and morning-skate reports come in. Nothing here is betting advice.
