About

Starting goalies, probable pitchers and game-day lineups, each marked expected or confirmed with its source.

We answer one game-day question across the sports calendar: who is starting today? Right now that means NHL starting goalies every game night, with NBA injury status, Premier League lineups and NFL starting quarterback news alongside. MLB probable pitchers and closers return with spring training.

How we label starters

• Confirmed: a team, league or on-site beat reporter has said the player starts.
• Expected: a credible projection, such as a league projected lineup or a morning-skate report, that is not official yet.
• Unconfirmed: no reliable source yet. We do not guess.

Sourcing

Every status and every article links the source it relies on, and each article lists its sources. We write our own reports and do not copy other sites' lineup tables. Desk copy carries the byline Staff Desk.

The publishing rules are on Sources & Ethics. Errors are fixed on the page; see Corrections. Nothing on the site is betting advice.
